Hey,
im currently 170 lbs at 6'0.5" but im 15.7% bf with a noticeable belly and annoying puffy bloated face (it looks like im 30% bf- worst fat storage genetics)
how would you proceed exactly to recomp in my case, in the following months , to 10% bf, no less than 160 pounds ?
if i just do cardio and cal deficit i will go to 140 lbs before im 10% :feelskek::feelswhy: and ill be a skeleton; dont wanna do that
how would you do it exactly, with the cal deficit, macro ratios and workouts, cause what im doin is not working as expected, i lost too much muscle :cry:
 
just do it slowly with weight training and high protein

Recomps don't happen unless you fall into 4 scenarios:

Your a noob, really fat, are coming back to training, or you are injecting.

Eat clean, train for strength at the gym and do the cardio as separated form the gym session as possible, and sleep 8-10hours.

thx brah ; gym 4 times a week and cardio 2 times seem to be the optimal right? it kinda ruins your gains if you do cardio every day or almost every day, since cardio eats muscles too :LOL:

Nah, cardio as much as your body can handle, i was doing 1 hour of swim almost every day during summer and gained 4kilos, couldn't do more than 3 days of gym though, it's all about sleeping and eating a ton (and not being subhuman ofc).

body recomp is cope even on steroid so forget about it with being natty , bulk 1y then cut

well of course you gained, if you ate a shit ton of calories (you would have cause otherwise on that much exercise you shoulda be a twink by now :feelskek:)
and yeah if you do swimming the gym time/ frequency will decrease a lot
also its suboptimal (cardio), weightlifting is the best in muscle building and fat loss too
 
I would just eat a nutrient dense diet, keep discretionary calories to the minimum, lift weights with good intensity fairly regularly, do light cardio, have a good sleep routine, and over maybe a year you should see a significant recomp.
 
Just bulk and cut. Or cut hard and look skinny when you're done. Recomp is a waste of time, it's the most inefficient way you could possibly train.
 
High probability that you're fatter than you think. 15% is close to visible abs, and people always underestimate their bodyfat. Especially because you're 170 at 6'; if you were lean that would mean you have a decent amount of muscle, which would mean you probably wouldn't be asking this

You can dm me pics if you want to know. Good news is, assuming you're a slightly fat novice-low intermediate lifter, you can gain muscle on a cut.

read what ive said man, im 14 % bf and have the worst genetics in the world since im blaoted as fuck at that bf and have fat rolls still
i need to get to 130 lbs auschwitz mode and i will, i have no choice, i was extreme ecto growing up
