All these appliances are screwed into the palate, and separate the suture by turning the appliance.

As the palate widens, X-rays show expansion in the maxillary bone, teeth, nasal airway, slight change in IPD, and also zygomatic bones.

MSE seems to be the best by far considering mostly all factors of time, how much expansion is possible, results in skeletal changes.

The only disadvantages seems to be slightly more expensive when done with orthodontists and its availibity across the world, especially the UK.

Dr Mike Jew Tried to bluepill me and give me a homeblock with fangs to potentially achieve 5-8mm expansion, which he said would only be really 4mm expansion because of teeth displacement. Also said he doesn't do bone anchored orthodontics anymore. Fuck him and his nurses.

Ive currently found two orthodontists in the UK that might be able to give me MSE or RME. I am desperate for it.

MSE or other MARPEs would be the bone anchored version of RME.

But there are many combinations possible, the imagination of the orthodontist and the lab technician are the limits. It’s even possible to place screws at the lateral parts of the palate, between the roots of the teeth, and use some type of modified Hyrax with acrylic... that also makes pressure in the screws.

Seriously, don’t try to do this yourself. You will waste your money and also harm yourself.
