Did a Canthopexy a few weeks ago to fix my droopy lower lids and the results turned out great. Was about a 30 minute procedure with no pain (minus the local anesthesia injections). Swelling for the first few days was annoying but not painful. Definitely worth it. Still have one stitch in which is fucking my pfl but that's getting taken out in 2 weeks.
First pic is before, Second is the day after procedure and third is now.

That's what I thought at first lol

OP are you sure you did bridge of bone?
Not sure all I know is they were definelty drilling something. He said the technique he used was the longest lasting and basically permanent so maybe?

I could be wrong tho tbh because the procedure name was just called "lower lid tightening with Tarsorrhaphy" on the contract

Sounds like you got a Lateral Tarsal Strip Canthoplasty then

Tarsorrhaphy is why your PFL reduced cuz they sewed the eyelids shut

James S Linder. But any good Occuloplastic surgeon should be able to do this so I’d say just find a local one like I did

Need this so hard

My eye area is even worse than your before:feelswhy:
Wishing you luck bro. It was only 2.5k so it’s very affordable compared to other surgeries. But if yours is worse then maybe you need a Canthoplasty

You have what else planned?

You don't know?! There's a lot of chatter that canthopexy results might not last as long as you need them too. So I wonder what technique the doctor used.

Well there really isnt that much info about canthopexy online so I'm not really well versed on it. I mentioned that concern to my Doc and he assured me multiple times that its essentially permanent with his technique and it'll only really weaken when skin starts to sag when you're older. Which would happen either way lol. And you would still be better of than if you hadn't done it.

He used permanant sutures, attached it higher and overtightened it a little just in case. Either way if it starts to sag far in the future I'll just get a canthoplasty. I'm gonna get fat grafting as well to support the undereye so that'll help with any potential sagging later.

pfl reduction is temporary right?

ask him what his technique was so we can get confirmation. there’s no way they drilled shit under local
