Yes and no. Truly, your bone mass doesn't stop developing until you're 24 to 26, but you have to consider that the majority of your total bone mass has already been built in your teenage years.

There's no reason why you shouldn't try, because you will see results, but I doubt they'd be as significant as you want.

sugar diet and bone smashing is giga cope jfl
bone smashing most results youll see might be puberty and no science backing it up but sugar diet makes sense logically speaking

so what would be effective to do and what would just be waste of money and time

It never truly stops with the right hormonal milieu - remodeling is a lifelong process. But you would need significant enhancement, like a substantial increase in paracrine IGF-1, which stimulates bone proliferation (more osteoblast activity to build bone).
So, you would need high-dose hGH, alongside high-normal free T3/T4 levels (which increase IGF-1 production from the same hGH dose, more efficiency). You would also need to find ways to reduce GHBP1, which increases with age and binds GH in the blood, limiting its availability to tissues.

Most importantly, you would need an enhancer or a guide, something that either directs IGF-1 into the target tissues or strongly stimulates local IGF-1 production. Androgenic steroids partially fulfill this role. Possibly, high mechanical loading does as well. Simply having high systemic IGF-1 circulating in the bloodstream is not sufficient, it can even lead to a downregulation of local IGF-1 signaling due to feedback inhibition.

i recently stumbled upon these threads also considering Sugar IGF1 Diet and bonesmashing, would it work at 20 years old to increase ribcage, clavicle and face bone mass ?

@Orc @Clavicular @chadisbeingmade @Jonas2k7 @androgenic
All cope just bulk for 2-3 years and you will get there!

Logically speaking you are going to develop a insulin resistance really quickly

Huge insulin spike promotes renal excretion of magnesium and calcium ----> hypercalciuria (loss of calcium in urine) ----> calcium pulled from bones simple as that
