Aside from skill.
-----------
BIgger frame with thicker bones give you more raw strength and explosive power, and more nuerological connection and better gravitational forces
it also allows for more force output in awkward angles
also, if the bones are larger your body will be willing to apply more muscular force because there's a reduced risk of the muscle tearing
----------
-------------
Say 2 people
Person A: He is 5,8 and has 6 inch wrists and narrow clavicles and thin bones, but can curl 60 pounds in one hand and tricep pushdown the whole stack
Person B: he is 6,2 and has thicker bones and big frame, but he can curl 30lbs in one hand and has a much weaker pushdown
The person A might be stronger in the gym, but person B will be able to exert much more larger force in construction work, or in a clinch or wrestling situation.
--------------------
Real world scenario
me and my friend who's 5,5 with a small frame but benches 225 and deadlift 300+, very strong,
-completely untrained
vs me 5,11 and a larger frame, and benching 155 deadlifting 265 max,
-im decently a trained BJJ and hs wrestling and general grappling in mma
he has 45 lbs on me
we grappled for 4 rounds, and I litterally ragdolled him because of the frame and skill difference
he was only able to push me in one direction, but as soon as I turned the leverage and angles gave my frame a big advantage
even though I was trained it would still be a-lot harder to sumbit someone with a bigger frame.
