Not in the way Clavicular describes it maybe but if you hit your cheeks, you cause repeated damage to the tissue which gives you hollow cheeks. Do it frequently enough and it’s permanent (ChatGPT also agrees). Thoughts?

you shouldn’t hit as hard as you would with bonesmashing because the tissue is much softer so there’s no need to hit harder to make microfractures

@sub3ed Bonesmashing has never worked and never will work.

Any gains noticed are caused by temporary swelling. Risk of hitting a nerve or blood vessel is much higher than accurately striking the bone repeatedly.

The entire premise behind bonesmashing is that it applies Wolff's Law and by repeated pressure to the bones, they adapt and harden/grow.

The repeated exposure to cause actual significant bone remodeling is not something one can achieve with the force output of a hammer or do within a desired timeframe, as well as go for that long without causing permanent nerve and tissue damage.

At the end of the day, it is your choice, but the minimal benefits do not outweigh the major negatives.

Hope this helps!
