Thats why ufc fighters condition their shins.Their shins just become stronger but not bigger.

i know the guy who has been doing karate for 10+ years since he was 6, he literally has bumps on his shins and his nuckles are quite big, doesn’t prove anything though

That's the case for shins, if you have enough space for new bone formation it will increase how big your bones are, if you don't then you'll just make them denser
