Bonesmashing results on skin?

Ive been doing bs for last couple days and i do every otehr day and after 3 sessions the zygo where i focused the massager a bit more on has discoloration and a tiny scab of blood and was like a tiny cut (kinda?). is this normal and how to deal with it? i use lotion already before and set masssager to highest setting as any lower and it just doesnt connect well. i only do it for a couple mins each area.
