So i dont know what to call the other one that fixates on scar tissue so heres what i know.
BONESMASHING is using a hammer to microfracture the bones to make them grow

but then the other method is using MASSAGE GUN cuz it works with mechanics that make scar tissue look like bone projection cuz its fast and mecanical cuz you vant perfectly hit with the exact force with a hammer so it doesent work as good as the massage gun.

Thers been a test on this stuff. It was about 1MM in 1-3 MONTHS.

Every 3 days you use it and then let the scar tissue do rest also suppliment
VITAMIN C
AND OTHER STUFF THAT HELPS WITH COLLAGEN

BSing never did regrow bones, that was never the point. The point was to develop fibrosis like you mentioned in the 2nd paragraph. Sure, you can SLIGHTLY help this proccess with constant inflammation and cell regrowth with very minimal microneedling.

Js use some vaseline before BSing, do it 2x a day forever and keep that inflammation high.
