(The thread is not about bonesmashing working, rather thoughts that arose from its premises. There might be grammar mistakes)
Most users have probably heard of bonesmashing.

Various claims of its benefits are:

-New bone growth
or
-Permanent scar tissue which looks like bone
or
-Just temporary inflammation

Many claim these are potential risks associated with it

-Nerve damage
-Bleeding etc

Now it makes sense that trying to hit your bone you have to hit everything between the skin and then first, so no wonder there could be risks.

But let’s take the case that the changes were to not be temporary, wether that due to bone growth or scar tissue.

You’d need to know your falios exactly, and have a good idea of how the change you would want to do would affect your other ratios. It’s often just portrayed as hammer in your face, then you get excellent Chad bone structure and harmony. Most people have no idea how the bones they have even relate to their falios, so you’d be needing to identity it properly. Then again most good bone structures, when it comes to it, they’re differently placed, and with bonesmashing the premise is just like adding filler. So if you’re maxilla is positioned such that you have a long midface, putting more mass into it it’s not going to shrink your midface, having a longer lower third then would maybe fix it, and that you could do by adding mass. But then again, your philtrum might be too short, so adding more chin mass below would result in a very uncanny look, so you need to absolutely know about these things if you’re looking to make changes by adding instead of positioning.
You’re trying to mimicking position by adding in a way.
