I've seen various different answers on whether or not bonesmashing works and I'm wondering about the science behind it (for the people who believe in it). I don't just wanna hear stuff about wolff's law I've heard a thousand times before I'm looking for new information on the actual physical mechanisms behind it. I recently saw something about ossifying blood vessels similar to the way fighters get hardened ears after receiving blunt trauma to them, but is this a guarantee and is there any possible negative side effects? I was gonna look through old threads but theres like 50 million people asking the same question all tagged with the same keyword so I don't feel like looking through all of it

Research subperiosteal hematoma ossification. Its a little more in depth then that but yeah. And obvs theres gonna be side effects if your smashing your own face with enough force to create hematomas all the time

Temp shit, rarely looks aesthetic. Also for blood to ossify it needs to be at that place for a long time

this is such a braindead response lmao I want someone who can actually teach me about the mechanistic speculation behind it and I'm not just gonna labrat myself without knowing what I'm doing
