So, Ive seen different views whenever we talk about bs. Assuming this analysis is right:
how bone remodeling works now: Old/broken bone is removed/resorbed and replaced by new tissue. This also happens when bones are fracture or undergo micro fracture (P.e exercise or
). Our bones have an outer layer with progenitor stem cells. These form into:
* Osteoblast (->secrete bone matrix)
* chondroblast (->produce cartilage)
When osteocytes/stromal cells/osteoblast sense a fracture/micro cracks, they send out a signal.
1. Osteoblast (They send out the signal)
2. RANKL (Long name: Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor κβ Ligand, this is the signal)
3. Monocytes (they have the receptors for the signal and tell the Monocytes to form to osteoclast)
4. Osteoclast:
-> Secrete Collagenase they break down collagen
-> Produce HCl Dissolves Hydroxyapatite
-> Old bone dies
Also our body regulates this, that not all off the tissue gets broken down:
Osteoblast also secrete Osteoprotegerin, this bind to RANKL and slows the activation of osteoclast

Great so now our old tissue is gone, how does new tissue form?
1. Osteoblast (They now secrete
2. Osteoid seam (Osteoid is the unmineralized bone matrix)
3. Filling of the Lacunae
4. Calcium and Phosphate (They deposit onto the seam)
5. Hydroxyapatite forms
6. Mineralization of the new bone
(Also some of the osteoblast get trapped into the matrix these become our new osteocytes)
-> New bone
**What is the best way to smash? As hard as you can? Hammer or Massage gun? Everyday or not everyday?
Also another thing i wanted to ask is how to hide bruises?
