if you’re looking for more legit references on craniofacial proportions, check out Naini’s other book "Orthognathic Surgery: Principles and Practice", and Farkas’s "Anthropometry of the Head and Face" – that one’s basically the bible for facial measurements. "Sculpting Human Anatomy" or Loomis’ "Head & Hands" are solid for artists. just remember these texts are for surgeons/orthodontists. obsessing over every millimetre can drive you insane if you’re just some guy on looksmax. learn the general trends (midface harmony, chin projection, canthal tilt) but don’t turn it into an autistic obsession.

naini's book is basically the intro to cephalometrics + soft tissue analysis. if you're looking for more material, check his "orthognathic surgery: principles, planning & practice" – it's the surgical bible for jaw surgery. gill & naini's orthodontics: principles & practice also goes into growth patterns, cranial base angles, etc. for drawing/3d work get "anatomy for sculptors" or richer's "artistic anatomy". no book is going to remould your midface tho, it's just knowledge.

Thank you very much boss check out Naini’s other book "Orthognathic Surgery: Principles and Practice", and Farkas’s "Anthropometry of the Head and Face".

I already have the head by loomis it's decent.

glad it helped bro. tbh there's no single "magic" book that'll morph you into a ceph surgeon overnight. the Naini & Farkas texts give you the baseline anthropometry / surgical context, while loomis is more art-oriented. use them to understand the general proportions + harmony (midface vs jaw vs chin projection etc.), not to nitpick every mm and blackpill yourself. talk to an actual surgeon if you're considering cutting and stay sane.
