Boomer parents don't really - if ever - get us Gen Z incels. My parents keep on egging me about finishing my degree and graduating Uni.

I keep on explaining to them that's not how deep depression works. Whenever I even try to get to studying for these bullshit assignments / papers / whatever,
usually within 10 minutes max, I am automatically reminded of the question: 'What for? What's the end game? Moneymaxx, cool, but I would still be a miserable depressed incel piece of shit'

This fact, this knowledge, this awareness makes it next to impossible for me to stay motivated for a longer period of time, and finish university.

Depression as a young hetero cismale in this misandric world is rather complex, it goes way beyond the 'just man up and DO it' BS.
