Oh yeah, there's tons of Youtubers out there that are literally copying the BOTB (verbatim) posting it and getting hundreds of thousands of views. Which reaches a lot more people than keeping the BOTB open ever could.

No, not really. Rules just got updated in response to this entire debacle.

Letting users have free reign to dox whoever they want so long they're not a forum member seems like a very slippery slope, especially when users have no qualms with dishing out threats (which are often dark jokes, but still).

There really shouldn't be any ambiguity when it comes to doxxing.

Users here just need to come to terms with the fact it's impossible to withold this information from the masses. Like was said earlier, it only takes a few users here to copy that stuff, alter a few bits, edit a nice video to go along with it and receive hundreds of thousands of views. Way more than the threads themselves ever received.
