Would using botox on one side of my face work out, or would it make everything look strange?

I favored the right side for chewing and sleeping when I was growing up, only 16 now but stopped 8 months ago mostly because I realized it.

Right side of my face is puffier, more downturned mouth corners, bigger masseter, nose deviation to the right, eye and eyebrow slightly higher, and eye is actually smaller. It looks like i have more fat on the right side for some reason.

You can really only notice it in flipped photos, and I hardly notice it at all anymore in normal seflie-type photos. I am already pretty lean, still trying to lean out my face more though. (with UC). Both sides ARE defined, it's just that the left side if more defined than the right, and looks better if im being honest. I want to do botox for the lip corners, and for the forehead to lower brows, and I want to use it for my masseter and reduce it.

But the only question I have, is would using botox to reduce these muscles and fix the asymmetries on JUST one side actually work? Or should I just do it on both sides? The only worry I am having is that it was signal the muscles on the right side to stop working, which WOULD reduce them, but I just don't know if it would become smaller than the left side already is, which would create a different asymmetry. I may be completely wrong about that though.

Please give tips and bestow me with any knowledge you have, I just want a harmonious face.

Muscle asymmetry is usually caused by something else though, like an uneven bite or a more underlying bone structure issue, you need to address that first. Did you check with an ortho?

I got my braces off almost a year and a half ago, maybe more? I have good bone structure and support.

Bones are less of a problem than muscle imbalance for me I think. I had an expander, and braces for 2 years. I just went to the orthodontist a week ago for a retainer check, and I forget to wear it sometimes but my teeth are pretty good, and I have a perfect bite.

I know for a fact that the muscles on the right side are larger and stronger, I can feel it. The right masseter is much larger than the left, not enough to notice normally, but in a flipped photo its obvious (for me atleast, I know I am partial to none flipped photos)

Muscle imbalance is usually caused by underlying facial structure issues or an uneven bite, its odd that's not the case. You have to realize that it'd look weird at first, then you'd have a window where everything looks even (short lived), and it'll go back to looking normal again. Muscles don't get used to botox until a few years of constant reinjection. Re-evaluate your decisions before making this, there's much better ways to relax your masseter

that's all i can say, in few beauty clinics that offer fillers and everything, ive seen that they offer also help with asymmetry
Clinics are scams. It's much easier to do filler and botox at home rather than paying 10x the price that I should be paying for it. I understand some fillers that can be difficult if you don't know what you are doing, or if you are doing it solo, but I think that clinics are generally a waste of money if you are competent to do it yourself.

fillers are cheap in clinic anyways and if they fuck you up u can go file a lawsuit
so i wouldn't say having someone who does hundreds of fillers every week do yours is a scam

Well, I feel it's not too outrageous for it to be almost all muscle imbalance. As a kid, with Autism, OCD, ADHD, all that shit, I was weird, and didn't like the feeling of food being chewed on the left. So I only EVER chewed on the right side. There is obviously SOME structural asymmetries probably caused by the muscle imbalance, but I know it is not severe enough to cause most of the asymmetries I experience, (like a droopy mouth corner, that is completely muscle based unless thats just the shape of your lips, in which this case it is not.)

I think you may be mistaken, if you were trying to say that asymmetry is usually caused by underlying facial structure issues or an uneven bite, that would be more understandable. Muscle imbalance is common, and I think it really is my problem here.

It's just the upcharge of the process. You will pay up to 500 dollars for simple filler, instead of paying 125 dollars for a DIY session. It isn't a big risk if you know what you are doing. It's all about having discipline and being careful, really.

well depends on what u are doing tbf

Completely, as I stated, some more difficult fillers should be at least done with a friend.

DIY gonial fillers are really the only difficult ones, because it is harder to see what you are doing while also being careful. Not impossible though.
