I can run crysis on my two year old desktop that’s running a 3080 ti. This beast mode laptop is like a desktop replacement. I only hope some oldcel doesn’t boot me out of the library doesnt boot me out while I’m gaming inbetween classes hahaha

Yea apparently the laptop burns through the battery in less than 2 hours even when not gaming. So I’ll be plugging it in perpetually forever

Gaming laptop regardless of specs are done within 3 years, while the last year is hell. And its not due to specifications, but the temperature over time will destroy the computer

Idk i managed to hold onto my current laptop since 2013. And it still works mostly except for the ludicrous boot times which is why I am replacing

this, its heavy af, small screen, no battery time, worse performance

for a little bit more money you could get a regular pc with the same performance and a cheap laptop for uni

I see, well I already have a good desktop. I just wanted a monster laptop that I can use on campus for gaming/coding since I imagine I won’t be socializing much over the next few years. If I’m gonna be hovering over a laptop might as well do it on style
