braces and Invisalign help!!!

Searching its seems to be very 50/50 if they "recess" your or its just shit maxilla cope. In particular what I heard recces you are the elastic bands and cooks your Maxilla


Am asking because I'm looking to fix my teeth very soon (I'm 19) and scared that it changes my face or fucks with my maxilla or jaw. Have seen some post on reddit where people talk about how they're face changed after braces or Invisalign so idk.

In my situation i have a overbite or over jet like this

Idk what to procced with and not veneers I'm too broke for that.


so if anyone here has or has had a similar problem to this I would appreciate the help should I just proceed with Invisalign without bands or just go for the bands? I also heard IPR is good but its cutting some of my teeth off JFL

The bands should help guide your bite more forward not necessarily cuck the maxilla but not sure how severe you overbite is. If it's literally just your teeth pointing forward then invisialign should be enough
