Braces and rubber bands

I’m getting told to wear braces and rubber bands but I’m scared they will make my side profile worse so when I go I’m going to ask them for a herbst appliance does anyone have any tips on how to ask them or anything to do with braces at all

You should ask them if they're gonna extract and retract. If they are, then you should reconsider cuz it will make your palate narrower and likely make your side worse.

They are problably retracting. Very bad u need to go to an airway orthodontist
