braces at 15, want to expand maxila

thinking of after braces i get expanders to maximize my maxila growth (yeah ik u usually get them before)

just wondering if this is smart and would help me as i hear some people say pallet closes at 16


my maxila isnt bad but i want it way more prominent. if its over bc almost 16 ill just get implants jfl

no, palate expanders splits your sutures and expand your maxilla laterally, it doesn't bring the maxilla forward.

You'd need Le Fort, not implants.

PM me a photo of your maxilla. Rather than try to make a halo, just fix falios. That should always be the priority.
