So I've been wearing braces for upper 4 front teeth, and I've noticed that im getting a double chin everytime I swallow or look down... WTF? I'm also single digit body fat so there's no way it's fat

Anything that pulls the upper front teeth backward will entrap the mandible further. Alveolar regression is possibly the largest singular cause of mandibular recession.

Thats it im taking it off Lol... Good thing is that its like a retainer so i can take it off anytime

The weird thing is that I noticed the bad effects it caused me within a week. Everytime I wear them I feel like something is pushing my lower jaw down and back

your tongue is lacking more and more space everyday, they are pushing your fucking maxilla teeth backwards wtf.
btw if your tongue dont have space, it will get pushed down and back whats causing the hyoid bone to be low. thats not a double chin, its soft tissue being pushed by the hyoid

The only time braces may have negative effects to the face is with extractions. The cause of your double chin is most likely a recessed jaw/chin
