Ok so I got braces when I was younger and my teeth were ultra fucked up but my jaw was normal. Basically I never wore my retainers, my teeth shifted a little but they’re still fine, and now my hollow cheeks are asymmetrical due to uneven massetters, slightly different gonial angle and one side of my ramus being longer than the fucking other. It’s not really noticeable bc you obv can’t see both of my side profiles at the same time, but it also recessed my chin a little. What kind of procedures could I have done to fix this and what would be my next steps? (hullo method in 2nd pic to emphasize downward growth.)

What’s BDD? Also, my jaw was perfectly symmetrical and everything before I have old pictures from both sides. I also have an issue with one side of my jaw clicking out of place kinda which I have an ortho appt for

nobody knows the cause of jaw clicking , could by anything. If you have jaw surgery in mind, it doesnt fix tmj, sometimes worsens it, also it wont change ramus discrepancy. BDD is a body dysmorphic disorder

Ah ok. Well tbh I never had any issues w my jaw pre braces. I genuinely think it has something to do w it and have seen some pretty compelling info towards braces causing jaw issues in general during puberty.

You are recessed, the teeth just got pair with it, ur best option is to fix your chin u will be fine
