Braces extraction enquiry

If you get braces and the orthodontist takes out a molar but refuses to fill the gap due to it being too big . Will I be recessed and lose bone as I’m 17 now .
I don’t want to be receded and don’t know whether this would make it worse .

yeah extracting teeth with braces will literally make u lose projection

though idk ur 17 so could be that it wont change much anymore, its not like ur developing a lot like in early teens.

but i have no idea dont know much ab orthodontics

If you check previous posts would you say it’s worth getting and I’ll be able to withstand a bit of projection or would you say don’t get them ?

idk ur pretty gl like lhtn maybe. But tbh ur fwhr is already unideal, on the more narrow side. I would be cautious because extracting teeth can lead to narrower palate, thus narrowing the maxilla and narrowing fwhr.

Seems risky imo
