Braces for deep bite

I got diagnosed with a deep bite and my orthodontist recommends braces.
What do I have to consider, since this forum often talks against braces.

if he is going to install miniscrews to intrude the front teeth then maybe yes( Ask your ortho if thats the treatment plan). A lot of stupid orthos fix deep bites by extruding molars unnecessarily with braces, which will make your face look lenghtened and in turn make you look ugly
