Doctor said i need braces

So doctor said i need braces to fix my deep bite but he also said that this js going to help my nose (crooked) and my upper lip bringing support etc.

Is this true or wtv i need help because i heard braced bad and i dont wanna risk my face

Braces are primarily used to straighten teeth and correct bite issues. They can help improve the alignment of the teeth and jaws, but they are not typically used to move the maxilla back. Hard to say without a pic .
