Braces/maxilla recession

I'm 15 and I'm thinking about getting braces to fix my overbite, does braces make my maxilla recessed?

I think there are two kinds one is getting teeth back Which is easier and cheaper and one is Which will push ur teeth front and is more expensive idk think second one is better but they never say it
