I'll get my bimax in around 6 to 12 months. And my appointment for braces or invisalign is in 1 month.
I already have a class 1 bite perfect occlusion.

Idk what choice to do between braces and invisalign.
I dont care about short term looks etc.
It's just about the efficiency to widen the palate/dental arch before the bimax (i'm 20yo).
My dental arch is already pretty good but it should ideally be wider, and i dont want to get a segmental lf1 because the main goal with my surgeon is ccw rotation and that would be around 8-12mm.
And i dont want to get a longer lower third or longer face at all cost.

Lmk if something is better for me. Or if both give the same result.

prob braces since you dont care about short term looks

I don't think braces can widen, can they?

aligners are more "powerful" than braces, because they can move the teeth in arbitrary directions

you need a palate expander to get a wider palate btw

That's why i thought for braces, my first ortho tell me that she expanded my palate with braces and it seems true (i was 16 late puberty).

I dont really need it for some reasons, just want to optimize this choice
