braces or invisalign?

going to the ortho soon to decide, they are the same price wise. i seen some people get weird ass lips with braces, but invisalign seems annoying to deal with

invisalign gave me posterior open bite and tmj

would just do braces if i had to do it again although invisalign is more convenient

my friend had invisalign it worked but his treatment wasnt efficient and took longer than it needed. Im going to ortho soon as well thinking about getting damon braces. these are best for non extraction treatment, since my bottom teeth were so crowded they considered pulling out some teeth. I also got x ray done for wisdom teeth, my shit is FUCKED and needs to get pulled out within a year. with braces its a pain but it works faster i presume

edit: also it was his fault it took longer, it might require more discipline (he would forget to put it back on etc etc.)

If the price same, js go with braces unless you have a specific reason to need Invisalign man, Braces move teeth more reliably, fix more problems, and don’t depend on your discipline btw, Weird lips usually comes from the bite issue itself not the braces, Invisalign is only better if you’re extremely consistent, because you have to wear it 22 hours/day and keep taking it out to eat, trust me js use braces if you want the most predictable result
