Braces pushing lips forward?

Is is possible that braces are pushing my lips a bit forward? Like when my lips rest on the braces it makes them go outwards more than without braces. Idk if it matters but i have a overbite and a slight overjet.

My mouth is a bit narrow and my lips looking a bit taller just makes it even worse
