How do braces-induced osteoclasts in the upper jaw impact your aesthetics?

I mean the "good" thing with the osteoclasts is that after you're done with braces then you might be more symmetrical and have straighter teeth, the bad thing with the osteoclasts is that it could cause gum recession(omg buzzword) or Root resorption✌️

Osteoclast activity is only heightened near the periodontium where mechanical pressure is applied, not in the areas of the bone relevant for aesthetics. It may cause locally thinner bone temporarily but as it remodels with time even that should not be noticable. Go for low pressure over an extended period of time to prevent root resorbtion (and obviously keep your dental hygiene in check) then you should be good
