I've been having braces for like 1,5 yrs now. They will get off in like 3 months. I had a crossbite and maybe like one bad tooth. But I convinced myself to get braces and I wish I didn't. I used to have a very strong jawline. People even told me I could model. And my chin used to be on the same length as my nosetip. However now, my jaw is much weaker and my chin is completely recessed. Also my maxilla became flat. I used to have so good forward growth but now it's gone. I wish I never made the mistakes of getting braces. I got Rubber Bands so that the Front teeth would move better and the orthodontist sliced my Front teeth to get more space. Is there any way to reverse all the damage? I will ditch the retainer

Mouth breathing while you were sleeping and not chewing hard foods as much due to the pain of the braces hopes this doesn’t happen to me

Jews got you with their strategies.

Bimax is probably the only way now.

it happened to me too :incel:

This thread really does peak my interest so I’ll make a following thread to prove that braces aren’t supposed to ruin your face matter of fact there is something that you was subconsciously doing to damage ur face and having braces only made it more visible. It’s supposed to give you a better side profile not give you a recessed jaw

Pushing the Front teeth inwards does make the maxilla flat tho. Braces basically push all the teeth inwards so it makes sense that the jaw becomes narrower

It’s different for most people. My teeth weren’t that bad my
Lower canines just sticked out on average your braces shouldn’t last more than 6 months so they did whole rearrangement on ur mouth

What I know is that I had a crossbite. And maybe 1 or 2 teeth that sticker out. My teeth were going outwards and they pushen them all back. Since braces my smile doesn't have those Front teeth sticking out. It looks narrow and my side looks flat

Jaw surgery is the only option. How old were you when you got them ?

I was 16 and now I just turned 18. Will ditching the retainer not reverse it?
I don’t see how braces could’ve done all that. Did you get extractions? By 18 your jaw is probably fully developed so only surgery can help.

It’s hard to say without a ceph and pictures.

I didn't get extractions. But looking at old Photos, my upper teeth were All straight and going ouwards when smiling. Now they are all pushed back. Basically I have no dental arch anymore. I think that's why my chin and Overall face got pushed back

Go to a blackpilled orthodontist and see if they can incline the teeth outwards. Not sure how though.

Something had to have been done to weaken ur jaw
