Braces + retainers question

Hey, Ive had braces since I was 16 and I just got them off after only about 10 months. I also just got my retainers (17 now) and I was wondering if wearing these retainers will still affect overal facial devolopment or not since im already 17. Thanks

literally all my teeth were fine except my front top 2 teeth and the issue with them was the fact they were both slanted inwards, creating almost a v shape if u looked at it from above. and it wasnt even that crazy

I don't think the braces recessed your maxilla (or your mandible) then

Wear the retainers like normal they won't do any harm
