I’m 17 and want to fix my teeth mainly for aesthetics. My upper teeth have a small gap between them, and my bottom teeth are fine except one lower tooth slightly goes in front of the upper ones because of a minor bite issue.
It doesn’t cause any pain or health problems, but I’d like to make them look better.
The thing is, I keep seeing people say braces can mess up your face structure or make your jaw look recessed, and that really worries me.
Has anyone here had a similar situation? Is it true that braces can actually change your facial structure, or is that overblown?

Braces kinda make you look better. They straighten your teeth and make your smile look nicer. They can also make your face look more balanced. They only look bad if teeth get pulled for no real reason. So try and avoid that or teeth removal.
