Im going to get damon braces for overbite/overjet and crowding...main thing is that i want my chin to be more forward or the same level as my upper jaw and fix recession,,my teeth are already kind of flared as you can see in picture ,,will damon braces cause them to be more flared and cause my chin to look even smaller compared to lips and upper jaw?

Damon's braces are really beneficial, especially for filling smile gaps on your sides and overall give you a wider palate. I'm not so sure about the mandible, especially since I've known that it's sort of an un-expandable bone, but you should go with self-ligating (damon's) braces, they're really good.

I have had my damon's braces for about 2 months now, and so far I don't feel my teeth flaring, which they were before. My upper teeth were somewhat like yours, and they've incredibly improved and got aligned perfectly, but there's still the arch expansion part.

Your orthodontist will give you elastics after your alignment part is over, or when your arch expansion part is over, which will take about 7 - 8 months depending on your goal. Use them consistently, most people remove them during mealtimes and forget to put them on for hours, which is so much wasted growth potential.

Be open and transparent with your orthodontist. This is key. Tell your guy exactly what you want and how you want it. Have hope. Be incredibly optimistic, it works. You should have the "anything is possible" mindset, because that's what you need. You need to be ready for any sort of pain that comes with it, because you're going to be a completely different person after them.

All the best gang, I wish the best for you.
