do braces fix the root cause of crowding teeth? or are them cope and should get marpe?

Braces correct crowding by moving teeth within the existing alveolar bone, which is sufficient in most cases because crowding usually reflects a tooth to arch size mismatch rather than a skeletal problem. A narrow maxilla is a different issue; braces cannot widen basal bone once growth has passed, so expansion is only relevant when true transverse skeletal constriction is present.

Yeah my crowding was probably caused because of my teeths were big asf. I have a 8 tooth smile rn tho,and didnt got any extractions.
