I’m 16 turning 17 in November and I got traditional braces and I keep seeing videos saying traditional braces make you recessed and I already have a narrow palate like I can barely fit my tounge on the roof of it to mew is it over and should I ask my ortho for anything

If you have money then ask for an palette expander because if it‘s really that narrow than it‘s a health issue
