I've been reading that braces fuck up your face basically all over, is this true? i have like 4 upper teeth that have moved and 2 of them have moved behind 2 other teeth. Will getting braces screw me over?

If you’re just straightening teeth and fixing crowding it shouldn’t fuck your face up, I heard people saying elastics fuck it up so if you have overbite, etc get jaw surgery for it instead
