That may be true partially. Women generally need to be a bit more fat-ish in the face as that signals youth and parenthood potential, which obviously makes them have features that allow for that extra fat to be stored in the face.

But brachy skulls are not the way to go about it. Increasing FWHR by making the skull shorter isn't good, you need to increase FWHR through wider zygos for instance

Yeah you used her before. Really tragic. My mother in her youth looked almost identical. Like, EXTREMELY similar. I can't even point the difference.


Such a shame really, since as I said my father is long skulled. My brother had the luck of the draw happen to him and got her coloring and his facial height. I got the coloring and her facial shape which is just... yeah.

It's kind of a mess however because people depending on angles, camera, distance etc. can look different, see Haynes here, his skull looks less compact.

It seems like the darker the clothes I wear the more brachy I seem, whereas when I wear lightly-colored ones I seem long-faced

My guess is that the bigger contrast between my skin color and clothing results in more of my ramus being visible, resulting in that squared look.
