Depends on the individual, if you cut all contact FROM THE START I'd assume it's much faster.

I didn't do that, and it took me a bit more than a year.

took me like a few weeks, those will be the hardest where u wanna throw up, kys etc etc - rn I'd just say accept it, feel your emotions for abit and then after just try to distract yourself with wtv like tv shows, movies , games and basically cut as much of her out of your life as you can. along with the advice above like talking to friends (maybe even tell them but dont overly trauma dump) and the other shit and you'll be fine in about a few months - at the end of the day even though she seemed perfect now, she isnt or it wouldve worked and also you'll find someone better in the future gng prmise its always like this
