Putting what you are attracted to behind what is objectively attractive? I’d say these two usually share a strong correlation, but not always. I find this woman attractive, but she’s kinda buff but I’m attracted because that means good genes even though animal brain likes no muscles. These are good genes for son, good eye area etc. essentially it’s a question of do you go for what you find cute strictly, or what is objectively an attractive face. I’m not talking about the extremes here. Not sure if I’m articulating this in the best way.

Yea, I bought my girlfriend an ancestry test so we could find her dad. She didn’t want to so I ended it, saw good features but what if her dad is a ugly manlet? Too big a risk.
