Most guys fail at looksmaxxing because they focus on random tactics instead of hierarchy.
Looksmaxxing isnt just a tik tok mew meme
It’s systematic optimization of sexually dimorphic traits in the correct order.

This thread lays out the actual priority list.

1. BONE > FAT > MUSCLE > SKIN > HAIR > STYLE

If you don’t understand this hierarchy, stop reading and start over.

  • Bone structure = genetic ceiling
  • Fat distribution = visibility of bone
  • Muscle = sexual dimorphism amplifier
  • Skin + hair = signal health & youth
  • Style = clothes that enhance ur frame or clothes that attract a specific niche
You don’t compensate upward.
Good clothes don’t fix bad facial ratios.

2. FACIAL BONE STRUCTURE

Key traits that matter

  • Midface ratio (short > long)
  • Zygomatic width (cheekbone projection)
  • Mandibular width & gonial angle
  • Chin projection
  • Orbital depth / eye support
  • Brow ridge development

Harsh truth:

  • You cannot just mew and pray to gandy post puberty
  • Soft tissue cope doesn’t override bone

What can be done:

  • BF% reduction to reveal structure
  • Posture correction (neck + head position)
  • hardmaxxing:
    • bsso/bimax/trimax (most common)
    • lefort 1/2/3 ( 2 and 3 are almost impossible to get)
    • Jaw/chin/zygo/orbital implants
    • Sliding genioplasty
    • rhino
    • otoplasty
    • cantoplasty/pexy
    • fillers (dont recommend due to migration)
    • orthodontics (not a hardmax but nottable)
    • and many more, more or less evasing surgeries (do some research this is just a brief guide)
Anyone claiming “face yoga changed my bones” is lying or delusional.

3. BODYFAT IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

This is where most normies sabotage themselves.
Thinking that just bc they dont weigh that much they are lean enough. Of course not, you need to have a low body fat PERCENTAGE, not just weigh little.

  • Ideal male BF% for facial aesthetics: 10–13%
  • Above 15% = blurred jawline
  • Below 9% = premature aging unless genetically blessed
Visible abs don’t matter if your face melts.
Face > body for attraction, always.

4. MUSCLE: ONLY WHERE IT COUNTS

You’re not bodybuilding. You want sexual dimorphism

Priority muscles:

  • Delts (width)
  • Upper chest
  • Traps (moderate)
  • Lats (V-taper)
  • Forearms
Avoid:

  • Overgrown obliques and traps
Aesthetic goal = clothes look good without trying (people will tell u that everything looks good on you)

5. SKIN (mostly genetic)

Bad skin subconsciously reads as:

  • Poor health
  • Poor hormones
  • Poor lifestyle

Non-negotiables for people with acne:

  • accutane
  • Retinoid (low dose)
  • cleanser and moisturizer
  • co2 laser for scars
  • Clean diet (low sugar, low dairy if acne prone)
  • Proper sleep
  • make up
If your skin is bad, nothing else fully works.

6. HAIR

Hair doesn’t create attraction, it frames it.

Rules:
  • textured hair ( most of the times fits the best)
  • dense and thick hair
  • and of course long hair
If balding:

  • Fin + min+ dut if early
  • if late shave it all or get a hair transplant if u can afford

7. STYLE

Style is not fashion.
Style is contrast control.

  • Fit > brand
  • Sharp silhouettes > trends
  • Dark colors sharpen facial contrast
If your face is average:

  • Go minimalist
    If your face is strong:
  • You can try dif things

FINAL TRUTH

This is just a small introduction. There is so much more info that is needed to learn.
People should also be ready to accept that they can softmaxx to a certain point
