But isn’t cs oversaturated?
yes so is every other uni related job, besides a select few
Also depends on your country, America always can use CS grads, if your an australiacel like me then yes its oversaturated asf since we have no new companies popping up

If I had to pick I would choose electrical engineering because there will be a growing demand for that

I heard that they are doing more maths than mathematic students. Another choice is applied mathematics, there will always be a demand for that

Im such a brainlit, I dropped advanced math for standard math because I wanted to go into finance which you dont need math for in Australia, but i realised finance jobs are shit and now its too late for me to do advanced math again. Gonna take me like 4 months to catch up

Not bad persay, if you make it you have a good pay. But the work life balance is non existent, and the first 10 years of your career is just boot licking your higher ups, and working 12 hour days. Good pay sure, but horrible mental health.

I've heard of someone on tiktok who did finance quit and became a high school teacher and he says his life is 10x better even though the pay is half. Not to mention the quotas, and the low probabliity to actually make it to the top in the first place

im studying in a top 15 econ university in europe and a dream would be to work in ib, but the more i research and watch people that work in the area, the more i understand that:
interns job is mainly just bringing coffees and sucking associates dick
and as u said theres about 1h of free time a day when you get the job
