In a span of three months. Before that, it was three in a span of six weeks or so. I am expecting the bill to be €1,000+. Since I don’t have insurance. :Bruh:

Not at all. When it comes to root canals, it’s much more painful before the treatment than after the treatment. It was very awful before I got a root canal (early April). I was very close to getting strong opioids to deal with the pain.

I’ll tell you why.

I was overdosing on candy, which eventually led to my first root canal in early April.

However, the first treatment was only halfway done, because the goal was to relieve me of the immense pain and I was going to get a follow-up treatment to finalize the root canal. However, during the second treatment, the file broke so the treatment wasn’t completed.

It was fine the first few weeks, but then it started to hurt badly again, so with luck on my side, I managed to get a third treatment to relieve the pain which would be followed up by my fourth and final treatment.

I haven’t eaten candy since my tooth started hurting in late March or early April. I normally don’t consume sugar anymore either, but that was something I already did before then.

My only sugar intake is in the form of soda. Or baked sweets, but I don’t have it often.

It was the worst before I got the first treatment. The pain was excruciating and constant.

how do root canals compare to a filling? time spent and pain?

Damn that sucks. I've had a root canal when I was 12 years old and it was so fucking painful. The dentist had to keep injecting me with anesthesia every 5 minutes which barely did anything to the pain.

The pain before the root canal is much worse. During the treatment itself, the pain depends on how much you are in pain. But it won’t be as bad as it was before the treatment. As for time, it can typically take an hour, but I am pretty sure I was done in less than that. The most uncomfortable part was having to keep my mouth open for the entire procedure and especially having to swallow the saliva that kept coming. :fuk:

fuck last time i've got it it was unbelievably painful ig because of lack of anesthesia
now i need to do a few more but im so scared:feelswah:

Jeez! At 12 years old? I am pretty sure the pain was not from the procedure itself but rather the infection that led to the treatment. But brootal if you needed multiple anesthesia shots. For me, one was enough.

Cool, I had a deep cavity last year that was very close to hitting my nerve endings. They were able to fill it and hopefully I'm good to go.

I have an addiction to peppermints :feelskek::feelskek::feelskek:
