Those particular populations are the only ones who have high frequencies of blue eyes, so it'd be the only way to measure it.

Eye color is a morphological characteristic, and most dimorphism is frequency related, beyond genitals and secondary sex characteristics.

in dark eyed populations, this difference is even more exaggerated

in studies on iranian and pakistani people, men have like 3x higher frequency of blue eyes (meanwhile in north europe its like, 1.3x?)
