And holy shit, are the VAST majority of these memes UTTER SHIT.

Cat memes are arguably one of the only types of memes that are "mainstream", meaning they appeal to normies. And it shows. Very, very badly. They are so painfully unfunny and boring, that it reminds me of why the NCP meme is a thing. If normies actually laugh at this, then they have the personality of a brick.
