Brutal Acne while on Accutane

I’ve been running accutane now since end of February, only 20 mg a day. Starting to get big spots now that fucking hurts on my face and ass cheeks. Side effects I’ve not felt much at all just dryer lips.

Is it normal that it happens after 2 months while on it?

give it a bit more time, maybe go up to 40mg if you arent experiencing any sides

i did 2 big "cycles" of 1grams each in the past (6 months ago and 3 months ago), since then my acnes been reduced by like 85-95% depending on if im breaking out or not

with a maintenance dose of 10mg daily i pretty much get no new acne

accutane is a brutal drug, dont use it more than you need it, once your acne is gone, lower your dose to a very low maintenance and then eventually cut it off

Okay appreciate the advice. Will increase my dosage slightly while taking Tuca and Glutathione for liver protection

the liver risks are kinda over stated unless your taking like 100mg + oral steroids and alcohol

but yea take tudca and glutathione, it wont hurt
