Well the more I look into this, I realize he was not just a non nt but he was also a workaholic. He could also be not giving her enough attention. Not only that, he made the whole thing where she has to be loyal and monogamous while he can get with as many girls as possible.

He also seems miserable and pissed all the time, I don't know if that's from overworking or just having poor facial expressions.
