Agreed. Especially for low status males since you either sucked at making friends when younger or your friends were low status dweebs who brought you down. Learning to make new friends mogs because your social experiences increase in quality. For example in high school I hung out with guys who were the lamest of the lames and were rejects of all other groups aka the motley loser crew.

Nowadays at least I hang with guys who lead normal lives and have wives/girlfriends so I have a nice mixed group I hang out with. I bring girls to the group too so it's definitely a big quality of life improvement when you can experience this.

If it’s people you see regularly it’s pretty easy, start by saying hi to them everytime you pass them by and say take it easy everytime they go from that common place, then you can include, how are you, another day another dollar (at work), then if you catch them standing after doing this for a couple weeks make a comment about something, if they look like they lift, you could say “nice gains man” or if they’re fashionable “I dig your fashion sense” usually for chicks.

Then you just converse from there, usually if you guys get along well naturally you will hang out with them.

Good thing I always had friends even when I was an outcast. Befriending other outcasts proved to be a really good decision, they are true friends and don't judge you

After high school/college idk, but at school it was easy cause I had common interests with them, videogames, anime and obnoxious jokes are some. I also had NT and popular interests like working out, weed, alcohol, soccer, NT music,etc but I always got along better with the non-popular crowd. They ways felt more genuine and real than the so-called popular kids
