I was in a vc with friends talking about how height has affected my life and how it's over for me. I'm 5'5, one friend is 5'7/8 and the other is 6'0. The 6'0 one was saying man just don't care about what others think, the 5'8 one said I can see how you can think that way, and then there's me saying it's over. Truly brutal.

2 ends of the spectrum, its easy for the 6 foot friend to say do not care as they cannot comprehend what the below average height men has to go through. Im 6 foot also so I can barely imagine what it is like, to fully grasp the idea of it I would have to be that height. This is jot to diss btw

The 6'0 friend was telling me that I'm lucky overall because people have it worse but all I want is to be the average guy, technically I'm unlucky.

No, I'm 5'5. The 6'0 friend I have was telling me that I'm still lucky because people have it worse than me. But technically I don't have it as good as the average guy in the US which makes me unlucky. I have long limbs and high metabolism which makes it extremely hard to gain weight, I'm 5'5 (4in shorter than average guy) and I'm mmtn-hmtn frauding. I don't have it as easy as the average therefore I'm unlucky.

Yeah I can understand that, but too striking can sometimes be intimidating for girls. Depends on country too. In Europe (especially Germanic and Nordic countries) I think 6'2-6'5 would be optimal. But in Asian countries where average is 5'7 it'd be like 5'11-6'2
