Edgelord philosophy but Idk, for the last 2 years I’ve been going through an existential crisis and depersonalization. Like, I don’t wanna do anything because we are all slaves to our ego.
We are born into this life, which is a prison. We are ants working for the colony. Nothing matters. Nothing. Many people say, “Well, do what makes you happy,” but nothing makes me happy. Everything that makes people happy in this world is superficial, and idk, I just feel this derealization, like reality is fucking with me, like this is some social experiment, some Truman Show.
Realistically speaking, the only real thing everyone must do is find a partner and reproduce, since that is what humanity’s purpose is, that is what we have been doing for 300k years. But it is superficial. I will date a girl, and then after years it will all go flat because it will become boring and I will get used to it. Fucking is just temporary pleasure, and girls are hypergamous as fuck.
Nothing really fucking matters to the extent that I see no point in getting out of bed every day, because I will eventually die, and so I’m just waiting for that day to come, because this life is hell and a prison.
We are all slaves to something. Some people are slaves to work, and then greedy people are like, “Get financial freedom and you will be free from the rat race,” but they don’t realize that this whole life is a rat race, not just capitalism.
We chase a high, always more. We are all slaves to money, religion, our emotions, desires, life goals, and we sabotage ourselves by saying that we have a purpose, and my purpose is this and that, but that is just self-sabotage because that is just you following your slave instincts.
